URA Launches Tender For Residential Development At Enggor Street (Land Parcel B)

The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) launched the site at Enggor Street (Land Parcel B) for sale by public tender today.

Land Parcel B at Enggor Street is one of the ten sites that were transferred from the Reserve List to the Confirmed List of the Government Land Sales Programme for the second half of 2007, as announced by MND on 14 June 2007 (http://tinyurl.com/2wxtgf).

This is the second residential site to be launched for tender at Enggor Street. The earlier residential site at Enggor Street (Land Parcel A) was launched on 4 September 2007. The tender for Land Parcel A at Enggor Street will close on 1 November 2007. Details of Land Parcel A are available in the press release issued on 4 September 2007 (http://tinyurl.com/2schkf).

Living in the city centre

The residential site will cater to the demand for inner city living. Several new residential projects, such as ICON and The Pinnacle@Duxton, are already being developed in the vicinity. The Land Parcel will provide another excellent opportunity for the development of a distinctive and high-quality residential development in the city centre.

The Tanjong Pagar MRT station is located within walking distance from the Land Parcel. Located within the Central Business District, the residents will also enjoy the convenience of being close to their work places at Raffles Place, Shenton Way, Raffles City, Marina Centre and the Downtown at Marina Bay. The residents will also enjoy a variety of shopping, dining and entertainment facilities at the nearby Orchard Road, Singapore River, Marina Centre and the up-and-coming Marina Bay.

Land Parcel B at Enggor Street

The Land Parcel has a site area of about 0.28 ha and can generate a maximum permissible gross floor area of about 23,420 sq m. It is zoned for residential use with commercial at 1st storey.

Other details

A tender period of about eight weeks will be allowed for the site. The tender will close at 12 noon on 15 November 2007. Selection of the successful tenderer will be based on the tendered land price only.

Developer’s Packets containing details of the site, development requirements and conditions of tender are available at S$105 each (inclusive of GST). These can be purchased from the Customer Service Counter on the 1st storey of The URA Centre, 45 Maxwell Road, Singapore 069118. The Developer’s Packets can also be purchased via URA-Online at http://www.ura.gov.sg/sales/sale_of_developer’s_packet.html at a cost of S$105 each (excluding delivery charges) for local and overseas purchases.
