  1. The Parc in demand
The show flat for the Parc Condominium, a residential development on the west coast, proved a popular place in August as prospective buyers queued night and day to view this latest offering by Chip Eng Seng and Lehman Brothers. All 659 units of The Parc, located along West Coast Walk, were fully sold within two weeks of its launch. About 80% of buyers were local.

The units were sold at an average price of S$880psf, up from an initial rate of about S$820psf, while some of the choicest units sold for up to S$1,040psf. The development, marketed by Savills Singapore, features a range of units from one-bedroom to five-bedroom.
